Our
Story

A dream. A thought. An unconvincing wish - that's how it all started. After an experience I shared in my blog post - Explain it to me - my heart burned for the desire to help people (youths especially) see God in the most minute issue of life. This desire got me thinking of ways to share God's goodness, to testify of His willingness to lead, heal, and comfort us in all areas of our lives from work to school to friendships, etc.

When the pandemic hit, I know we all took on new hobbies and mine was blogging. I named my blog Journey with Mo, which can be interpreted in two ways:

1. Journey with Mo(yo) - coined from my name

2. Journey with Mo(i) - Moi, a french word meaning 'me'

As much as I wished this new hobby of mine will last beyond the pandemic, I was also sure it really won't for several reasons. Thinking it was a short-term adventure, I went ALL in, posted regularly, bought a domain name, hired professional help even! Let's just say this blog did NOT have a humble inspiring beginning. I just wanted to run as far as I could with this burning passion and let it go when I no longer can.

It didn't happen as planned. God took over this blog of mine and chose to use it for His glory indeed. He vowed to feed the people with His word, and not even my story will stand in the way. I promise you, GOD DID THAT, and IS STILL DOING THAT! I began a new series on the blog "Living Word Series" based on His promise but He worked beyond the series and began to mold my heart. He killed the desire for the blog to be "mine" and made a team for it. He then changed the name from Journey with Mo to In The World In Faith to continue just exactly what He began doing from the start, but this time with or without my story/experience.

On this blog, you can bank on God to send you a word through my personal life experience or through creative stories God will carve out just for you! Together we can all learn to trust Him to feed us with the Living Word.

I want to seize this opportunity to thank my co-laborer, Jeremiah for being SO supportive behind the scenes! I appreciate you and God appreciates you even more! Friends, subscribe to this blog to receive newsletters from your boy - Jeremiah; and YOU will thank you for doing that!
